First Febromed GETUP arm installed in Northern Ireland

We’re proud to share a major milestone for Synapse Medical, the first febromed GETUP arm installed in Northern Ireland, delivered and installed alongside our service partners Cardiac Services.
The Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast / Belfast Health and Social Care Trust PET-CT Department has selected the febromed GETUP bar to help reduce manual handling pressures, enhancing staff wellbeing and patient safety particularly in high-throughput environments such as Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy.
Beyond manual handling benefits, the GETUP also empowers suitable patients to assist themselves on and off the scanning table, helping to minimise staff radiation exposure a critical consideration in PET-CT scanning where patients are radioactive.
With multiple units already installed across the Republic of Ireland and now the first in Belfast, the Synapse Medical team is on hand to facilitate site visits or discussions for anyone interested in learning more.
